The name of Moroccan comedian « Abdelali Lamhar », known as « Talis », has topped social media sites in Morocco after being accused of « insulting » Moroccan women .
This follows a comic link presented by Talis during a ceremony honoring the Moroccan national team coach, « Walid Regraki », and his players for their achievement during the Qatar 2022 World Cup, organized by l National Association of Media and Publishers. , and whose presidency is ensured by « Idriss Chahtan », the owner of the electronic channel « Shoof TV ». And in the presence of the President of the Royal Moroccan Football League, Faouzi El-Kagaa, and the Minister of Culture, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaïd, as well as the players, Yahya Gebran, Yahya Atiyatallah and Reda Al-Teknaouti, in addition to others sport events .
In a paragraph meant to be humorous, « Abdelali Lamhar » made insulting statements, speaking of « Moroccan cheerleaders during the World Cup, using phrases that degrade the value of women and incite harassment » .
Several activists on social networks have deemed « unacceptable » the comments made by comedian Thales during his show, calling for the intervention of artistic unions and the authorities concerned to put an end to the abuses suffered by Moroccan women under the sign of « comedy and laughter » .
And Moroccan actress, Sanaa Akroud, broke her silence to respond to the abuse of Moroccan women included in the comedy show of « Talis », as she wrote an article about it through her personal account on the site social networking site « Instagram » .
In this context, Akroud said: “A joke or a comic situation is a dangerous psychological and linguistic combination whose danger lies in its social and psychological sensitivity .
