Chinese Ambassador to Morocco Li Changlin pointed out that the high-speed train project Morocco has created is a huge project in the region.
The Chinese official indicated, after presenting the design of the Chinese high-speed train, which will link Casablanca and Agadir, that the Chinese are very interested in working with the Moroccan authorities to set up more TGV high-speed train lines, notably the Casablanca-Agadir line and also the Fez line.
He also revealed that the Chinese company had prepared a study for the completion of the high-speed train line between Marrakech and Agadir and handed it over to the National Railways Office.
Ambassador Li pointed out that China is very interested and has the necessary skills to complete the high-speed train lines in Morocco, but the final decision rests with the Moroccan authorities.
